As a family-owned fine jewelry boutique, Copeland Jewelers is happy to provide you with outstanding jewelry and gifts with exclusive, personal service.  Most of our pieces are one-of-a-kind, made to order, or stocked in small amounts.

Ordering

When ordering online:

  • SCHEDULE: Allow 3 to 6 days for order to be processed and shipped. Orders during regular hours will normally begin processing the following day.  Order placed Saturday and Sunday will be processed on the following Monday.
  • ORDER CONFIRMATION: Orders over $500 will be confirmed before shipping. We reserve the right to cancel or withhold shipment of any order we suspect is fraudulent or suspicious.
  • ITEM AVAILABILITY: Many of our pieces are one-of-a-kind. We will contact you by phone or email if the merchandise you have selected is no longer available.
  • GIFT BOX: Your  jewelry purchases from Copeland Jewelers will come in our complementary signature jewelry box or jewelry pouch and every Cuervo y Sobrinos watche comes in a humidor.
  • MODIFYING / CANCELLING AN ORDER: Call 512.330.0303 for any change requests. Modifications or cancellations must be made before the order being processed and shipped. Allow 24 – 48 hours. We will attempt to make changes to the extent possible
    prior to shipping confirmation.  Some changes result in a shipping delay. We cannot make changes or cancellations on special order requests and/or orders that have already shipped. If your order has already shipped, please contact us to set up
    a merchandise return once you have received the shipment.
  • SALES TAX: If purchasing from a state other than Texas, you are responsible for paying the appropriate tax to the appropriate entity.
  • EXCEPTIONS: For rush orders or other special circumstances, call us at 512-330.0303.

Shipping, Rates & Insurance

We ship all packages with USPS and fully insure all our packages. ADULT SIGNATURE REQUIRED FOR ALL DELIVERIES. We ship anywhere within the United States except to P.O. Boxes. All orders over $500 will be confirmed by phone before shipping.

Special arrangements, such as Saturday delivery and expedited order service on some items for an additional fee may be made by contacting us at 512.330.0303. Copeland Jewelers is committed to timely delivery of your order. However, delivery delays because of bad weather conditions, carrier delays or incorrect addresses are beyond our control. Shipping fees are non-refundable.

Shipping Rates in the USA are as follows:

  • For packages valued at $499.00 and less = $15.00 shipping & handling and arrives by USPS Priority Mail usually in 2-3 business days.
  • For packages valued at $500.00 and up  =  $36.00 shipping & handling and arrives USPS Priority Express usually in 1-2 business days.you

Our payment insurance does not  allow online payment and in-store pickup. Call 512-330-0303 if you want to pay via phone for in-store pickup.

IMPORTANT HOLIDAY SHIPPING DATES

Last Day for Overnight Shipping is December 20th.

Please note we do our best to ensure your packages are delivered on time as ordered, however due to unexpected holiday shipping delays and carrier volume, your packages’ timely arrival is at the mercy of UPS and USPS delivery services.

Our Return Policy

Your complete satisfaction with our product is guaranteed or items may be returned or exchanged within seven days from when it was shipped, with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).You will pay for return shipping and insurance fees. To receive a return authorization on orders, call Copeland Jewelers at 512.330.0303.

Please note that to be eligible for return, items must be in their original purchase condition, include all product paperwork, and shipped within 7 days.

To expedite exchanging for different product, we recommend returning for refund and placing a new order. Please allow approximately 2 weeks for your refund to be processed.

If a package or item delivered to you arrives damaged, please refuse the shipment AND call us immediately at 512.330.0303. Please retain all packing materials unless instructed otherwise by Copelands. Claims for damaged or missing items must be reported immediately or within 5 days of receipt of your order. Copeland Jewelers will not be responsible for lost or damaged returned shipments. We reserve the right to refuse items for a refund or return that do not follow these standards.

We are not responsible for and will not be able to process store credit or exchanges for items lost or damaged in transit due to delivery error.

Non-Returnable Items

There are no returns, refunds, store credits, or exchanges on custom or special orders for online or in-store purchases. Engraved jewelry items may not be returned.  Special orders are final sales and are not
eligible for return. Returns without a Copeland Jewelers return code, returns sent C.O.D., and improperly or uninsured packages will be refused upon receipt. Returns with missing paperwork or product will not be processed.

This return policy does not apply to items bought in-store at Copeland Jewelers in Austin, Tx. Items purchased in-store are final sales. You may exchange your items within 30 days of purchase or receive store credit.

Returns Process

How To Prepare A Return Or Exchange

To return a jewelry item to Copeland Jewelers, follow the process below:

  1. Call 512.330.0303 and you will be given a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Code.
  2. Write this RMA on the OUTSIDE of the box you are returning. Your return will be rejected at time of delivery without this ReturnMerchandise Authorization Code.
  3. Package Your Return. We recommend you use the original shipping box, including all original packaging and collateral material. If your item was delivered with a diamond certificate and that certificate is not returned, you will be liable for the US$250 replacement cost.
  4. For security reasons, only write Copeland’s on the outside of the box, do not use the word Jewelers or Jewelry.
  5. INSURE YOUR PACKAGE. We recommend that you securely package your items in original packing materials, fully insured. We are not responsible for lost or stolen articles.

No exchanges, or credits will be granted after the 7 day period has past, and no returns will be processed until we have received your original item.

Please allow another 7 – 10 days after processing for your bank to post credit against your account.

Copeland Jewelers reserves the right to charge Restocking & Refurbishing fees on any merchandise that shows signs of wear.

Returns on Items $500 or Less:

Call Copeland Jewelers for individual items of $500* or less being returned for refund. Request a Return Merchandise Authorization code.

*Online Returns do not apply to the following items:

  • Item(s) shipped over 7 days ago
  • Exchanges, repairs, or resizing
  • Items that became damaged or defective after delivery
  • Engraved items

Returns of Items $500 or More:

Call Copeland Jewelers for individual items over $500, and items for exchange, repair, resize, or to report damage or defect.

We recommend that you securely package your items and fully insure them for the retail price. We are not responsible for lost or stolen articles.

Returns are processed during weekdays once the items have been received in our store. Following receipt of your returned item, you’ll receive a confirmation email. Please allow an average of 1-2 weeks for full processing. Our Quality Assurance team will review the returned item. Items that show signs of wear or have been altered, resized (by a jeweler other than Copeland Jewelers), or damaged cannot be accepted for return.

Shipping Charges for Returns

Shipping charges, including Special Handling and any other related costs, are non-refundable. Please do not ship returns C.O.D. If you receive any portion of your order damaged, please contact us prior to returning the items. Copeland’s will not reimburse you for unauthorized shipping expenses incurred. Please retain all shipping materials for pick up and/or inspection.

If we request that you return the merchandise to us, we may reimburse you for full or partial return shipping expenses at our discretion. We will not reimburse you for overnight, express or other special services used at your discretion.

After Your Return Is Received By Copeland Jewelers

When your return is received in our store, you will receive a confirmation email. Return processing occurs Monday through Friday. Please allow our team one business day, up to 24 hours, once the carrier arrives to receive product into our system. Failure to obtain a Return Authorization code, or include Diamond Grading Report(s) can delay receiving your return.

Once entered into our system, your return must be inspected by our Quality Assurance team.

Copeland Jewelers reserve the right to charge Restocking fees & Refurbishing fees on any returned merchandise that shows signs of wear.

Please allow 2-4 business days for this process. If there are any questions regarding your return, we will contact you. Once inspection is complete, your return will be fully processed. For refunds, please allow an additional 2-4 days. If you have any questions about your return, please call Copeland Jewelers at 512.330.0303.

PayPal Returns

PayPal orders may be returned for credit back to your PayPal account. Please allow up to 2 weeks for your account to be credited.

Credits To Your Charge Card

Credit card purchases and PayPal purchases will be refunded against the credit card or account used on the original purchase. Please allow up to 2 weeks from the date that Copeland’s has received your return for your account to be credited. You may wish to contact your credit card company on posting guidelines as they can vary. If you made a purchase of US$1000 or greater using a bank wire, and are an International customer, your refund will take approximately 3 weeks from the date of the return’s receipt.

No exchanges, or credits will be granted after the 7 day period has past, and no returns will be processed until we have received your original item.

Ring Resizing

Copeland’s offers one complimentary ring sizing for our online shoppers. Sizing and alternations to your purchase may delay your shipment. Call if you have a tight timeframe — 512.330.0303.

You may ask for the sizing at the time of purchase or pay the shipping for us to resize it within 30 days and we will pay the shipping to return it to you after the alteration.

BE ADVISED – ONCE WE RESIZE YOUR RING WE MAY NOT BE ABLE TO REFUND, EXCHANGE OR CREDIT YOU FOR THE ITEM. If someone else resizes or alters the ring we MAY NOT be able to refund, exchange or credit you for the item.  

If you decide to return it to us for sizing, please refer to the Return Policy described below by calling Copeland Jewelers at 512.330.0303 for your Return Authorization Number that must be on the outside of the box you return to us. Any subsequent resizes will be subject to resizing fees. If you visit us at our store for the resizing process, we feel confident that we can get it right the first time, and if not, we will adjust the size at no extra charge.

Custom, modified, and engraved rings are subject to resizing fees. In a few cases like Anniversary bands, resizes of some rings are subject to a price increase based on the price of the new ring size. Copeland’s includes one complimentary resizing for our vintage rings, within the sizing tolerance for each ring. To maintain structural integrity, certain rings are final sale if they are significantly resized.

The average ring size for most women’s rings is 6 – 6.5, and for men, size 9 – 10.

Other Alterations

If you would like to have an item other than a ring altered or adjusted, please call the store 512.330.0303 or email clay@copelandjewelers.com to discuss the alteration.
