A Yowah opal pendant from Copeland Jewelers’ Custom Collection. Check out this true one-of-a-kind original from Clay Copeland and Mother Nature.
The Yowah Opal
What a gift from the Earth! Weighing in at almost 13 carats (12.95), this opal is stunning. Yowah opals are considered the cream of the crop! With vivid flashes of blues and greens that shimmer when it moves. Yowah matrix opal consists of boulder ironstone with opal randomly running through it. Consequently, they are cut as one stone. Dark backgrounds of the boulder really make the colorful opal flashes standout.
The Yowah Opal Design
Clay Copeland expertly outlines the opal’s natural contours in 14K yellow gold. Therefore, the stone is the focal point of this yowah opal pendant. As it should! Minimalist designs that show-off wondrous gems are the hallmark of Copeland’s work. And, this matrix opal pendant is a perfect example. In addition, a .10 ct. diamond brings the whole design together.
